Where Black Women’s Health Stories Become Systems of Change

Ebony Women Health Corps (EWHC) is a public health organization committed to improving the health, healing, and wellness of Black women and birthing people through story-centered advocacy, culturally responsive coaching, and trauma-informed programming. We turn lived experiences into data, data into action, and action into lasting change.

Our work addresses the root causes of Black maternal health disparities — including systemic racism, medical gaslighting, and the silencing of Black voices in healthcare. Through our signature initiatives like UnAnswered Questions, ReBecoming: After the Birth, and EchoHer, we amplify community voices, train healthcare systems to listen, and support Black mothers through their journey of healing and wholeness.

This is more than a service — it’s a movement built from the voices of Black women, for the survival and thriving of Black women.
